I entered the barbering industry in 2018 as a college freshman. What began as a simple interest in cutting hair evolved into a professional path that instilled the values of discipline, steady effort, artistic expression, and self-assurance.
Through the years, I discovered that this craft is far deeper than just providing a haircut. It centers on building confidence, creating opportunities, developing new relationships and gaining the power to design your own destiny.
This vision is precisely what inspired me to establish Sliced Barber Academy.
His goal is to deliver quality trade education and create career opportunities for students throughout Hampton Roads and surrounding communities.

Sliced Barber Academy's mission and goal is to help each student successfully complete the program, prepare for the Virginia barber licensing exams, and build the skills needed for a successful career. Graduates may pursue careers as barbers, shop or salon owners, or instructors.
What You Earn
Graduates who successfully complete the 750-hour Sliced Barber Academy Program receives a Certificate of Completion and will be prepared to pursue Virginia Barber Licensure - building a career, a business, and a future to be proud of.
